History ADC was formed in 1978 by families of young adults with disabilities who wanted their sons and daughters to have the opportunity to grow and lead enriched lives after completing their school years. Today, ADC has grown to the largest provider of vocational training services to individuals with developmental disabilities in CowlitzCounty. We have been successful in helping people with disabilities reach their goals, through training and job placement services. Through the power of work, we continue to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. ADC-Pathways to Employment offers facility and community-based services, working with individuals and in small group settings to develop individual skills and abilities, helping to create opportunities for all individuals so they may contribute to the community in which they live. ADC believes in individualized services driven by personal choice in the least restrictive setting possible. Our goals are to increase self-esteem and self-sufficiency for all our participants.
